How do I upload my running data?

Click on "New Analysis" in the navigation menu, then select your .FIT file from Garmin Connect or from the Stryd Powercenter. We support .FIT files from Stryd and Garmin devices that include Running Dynamic Metrics. To know if your watch is supported, check the sensor dropdown in the "New Analysis" section.

What data does Run-It analyze?

We analyze your pace, cadence, stride length, ground contact time and vertical oscillation. This comprehensive analysis helps us recommend running shoes for your unique biomechanics.

What are "Great Picks"?

Great Picks are shoes that, based on our data, are a great fit for your biomechanics.

What are "Good Options"?

Good Options are alternatives that align with your biomechanics, but with less supporting data than top matches. They may differ in certain characteristics, yet should still offer strong performance for your running style.

What does "Not Ideal" mean?

Not Ideal shoes are options that are not recommended by our current analysis for your biomechanics. Based on the available data, they may not align as well with your running style.

What's included in the free tier?

With the free tier, you get 1 Great Pick and 2 Good Options unlocked. The remaining recommendations appear as mystery cards that you can unlock individually.

How much does it cost to unlock more shoes?

Each additional shoe recommendation costs €3.99 to unlock. You can choose which specific recommendations you want to reveal based on your interests.

Can I unlock custom shoe recommendations?

Yes! If you select specific shoes you want analyzed during upload, they will appear as mystery cards. You can unlock them to see how well they match your biomechanics.

My file upload is failing. What should I do?

Make sure your file is a valid .FIT format from Garmin. The file should contain Garmin Running Dynamics. If the problem persists, try exporting the file again from Garmin Connect (NOT the app) or contact our support team.

I completed payment but my shoes aren't unlocked. What happened?

Payment processing can take a few moments. Try refreshing your report page. If the issue persists after 5 minutes, please contact brechtc@run-it.com with your order details.

How accurate are the recommendations?

Our recommendations are based on advanced biomechanical analysis and proprietary algorithms that match your running metrics with shoe characteristics.

Is my data secure?

Yes! We take data security seriously. Your running data is encrypted and stored securely. We never share your personal information with third parties. Read our Privacy Policy for more details.
